Remodeling of the Villa Theatre auditorium, view of the stage from the stadium seating section

Workers build a platform to level out the area in front of the Villa Theatre's stage.  The theater's red Cinerama curtains have been removed and donated to the Hale Centre Theatre.

The curved screen of the Villa Theatre in 2003

The 78-foot-wide curved screen used by Carmike Cinemas from 1996 to 2003.  The Villa's original Cinerama screen was probably 89 feet wide and 29 feet high.

Behind the screen frame, in the center, is a short hallway that connects the edge of the screen curtains to the original exit hall.  The original entrance to the exit hall is on the right.
