The stairs down to the smoking room and Mens restroom.  The wall on the right side of the stairs was added sometime after 1958 to form a supply room for the concession stand.

In 1997, Carmike Cinemas added French doors to separate the noise in the lobby from the auditorium.  Before this there were only two sets of curtains to keep the light out.
